Photography stripped down to it's essence.
Chroma Phils, Inc. invites you as Mr. Pancho Escaler probes the creative process behind making images. Mr.
Escaler aims to share his years of experience on photography to guide
his students in finding their own sense of style / expression in
creating photographs. This is a three-day workshop that involves Mr.
Escaler's discourse on photography; hands-on activity in portraiture
photography; and an in-depth critique on the images produced by the
participants. This workshop is open to all serious amateurs that
consider taking photography as their career. There will be only 15
slots as to assure a more personalized workshop.
Specific Details:
When: March 10, 11 (9:00am - 4:00pm) & 17 (9:00am - 12:00pm)
Where: Chroma Philippines, Inc. Unit 214, Milelong Bldg., Amorsolo St., Makati City
Requirements:
Digital SLR
10 sample works in CD format

| | i learnt new things today: (not all are photography related;p)
1. reflectors are my best friends.
2. i cannot trust my LCD.
3. i will not sell vittoria.
4. multiply is heaven sent.
5. i will no longer wear sando to an on-location shoot.
6. i can go out in the nude.. coz i have burnt arms for sleeves and a burnt neckline as well. thus.. i also learnt that i should always use sunblock..
7. i should not always shoot in manual. (i always thought it gave me best results at daytime... poor me)
8. i still think tropical palace is the BOMB!
9. bisaya people rock my world.
10. i should not trust hormones.
11. i should not meddle.
12. i should save more money.
13. i will definitely buy the 50mm.
14. i cannot direct! and i should hire/marry/date/be taught by one...
15. there is sooooo much to learn with what I'm doing that i cannot learn it only till February.
16. there's so much to love that i cannot love only till February.
17. there's so much to settle. that i think i want to stay beyond February.
18 lenses are my temptations..
19. shadows are my dreams..
20. tabasco is my alarm clock..

TIME is precious and JEWELRY is timeless,
when you have both,
there is just so much you can do..
BUT!!! one great thing (a) huge-ass piece(s) can do is take other people's minds off whatever you consider "unpleasant" on your body, whether it be pimples (maybe stick-on diamonds), warts (maybe bigger stick-on diamonds), horrid eyebags (maybe the earrings Ms. Porto Rico wore to get attention away from the eyes?), bruises (maybe a GIGANTIC brooch that serves also as a paperweight for the office), wrinkles, and
some say freckles, which i don't think anyone should even try and cover coz freckles are just adorable... so it's up to you. but the genuine ones are a pain in the arse coz you have to be watching them all the time.. right pieces at the right time:)

THEN TO KORINTHOS! hom of st. paul.. found a few dead-headless bodies.. ate scrumptuous greek food.. lotsa tomatoes and a paste (forgot the name) airport aghen.. stop over at flumicino? airport... i bought all pasalubong there.. ssshhh.. teeehee.. except for the postcards.. then stop over HONG KONG for three days.. BOUGHT colin jr. and stanley.. vitoria will never be lonely again.. Finally.. back home.. SAY BOOOO... it was fun SEXploring the wonders of the world... |

| | browsing.. browsing.. browsing.. all i do... shoots do matter. the beautiful, the bold, the glamorous, the non cellulite... but what matters even more are those asses that stick out, those stuff behind the shoots... those test shots, those trips, those oopsies, the LOVE, those true-to-life emotions, the bloopers... they speak to me more... and i hope they SCREAM at you... things i learned: learned how to make people glow... that's it... learned that lyka has a cute butt chin in some angles like colin firth. learned that I should make time for other people and not just be too busy with myself... |
